Camp Washington has built upon the brand MADE IN CAMP to become recognized as a progressive and livable community where housing is diverse and affordable, creativity is prized and everyone is welcome.

  • The Camp Washington Community Council started in 1981 to help make our neighborhood clean, safe, and vibrant. CWCC supports the neighborhood of Camp Washington by providing gardening and plants to Valley Park and the Bates Avenue Community Garden, supplying Mutt Mitts to the parks around the neighborhood, and working with the city to decrease crime.

    They partner with CWURC to produce monthly neighborhood newsletters and many community events throughout the the year.

    The Council is run by residents that volunteer to represent our neighborhood and act as the point of contact for City departments.

    CWCC meets the second Monday of the month at 7pm. Currently, they are meeting virtually.

  • For the past thirteen years, the Camp Washington Business Association (CWBA) has been both a listener and a voice representing the Camp Washington community. Below is a list of items that CWBA works on

    Provide information on available properties to prospective businesses moving to Camp.

    Holds monthly Business Association luncheons to communicate important information and provide resources to members.

    Regularly meets with both County and City leaders to discuss the needs of the Camp Washington area.

    Plans the annual Camp Washington Golf Outing raising funds for economic development initiatives in the neighborhood.

    Works closely with Cincinnati Police to ensure safety in the neighborhood

  • The Common Orchard Project was founded by Chris Smith to create a more compassionate and productive community by addressing vacant land to grow food and other useful materials. The Common Orchard Project has created 10 orchards on vacant lots and is the operator of the Urban Farm. The organization is revitalizing the farm to bring fresh food and agricultural education to the neighborhood of Camp Washington and the City of Cincinnati.
