2963 Colerain Avenue Renovation
History of the Building
2963 Colerain Ave, locally referred to as the US Chili building, has been a staple in the community for over a century. Built in 1895, it served as a bank, with the top three floors acting as a hotel for railroad workers working on the trains that passed through neighborhood.
In the mid-1980s U.S. Chili began operations on the first floor of the building and served chili to the Cincinnati area until 2019, when the restaurant closed, and the building sold to CWURC.
Now it’s time for a new life within these walls, and we look forward to partnering to redevelop and continue the building’s legacy in Camp.
